Governance

The club is governed by a committee of twelve including five officers. They are:

Keith Samuels

• Chairs Meetings.
• Encouraging collaboration among committee members and involving them in decision-making.
• Keeping an overview of the group’s work and goals.
• Contact Person for external parties (e.g., council, other organisations)

Roy Griffiths

• Acts as a deputy for the Chair, stepping in when the Chair is absent.
• Assists the Chair in organising functions and may fulfil the Chair’s duties if needed.

Meriel Samuels

• Manages the organisation’s finances.
• Keeps budgets, and accounts.
• Provides financial reports.
• Coordinates fundraising efforts.
• Handles money transactions. 

Hilary Owens

• Supports the Treasurer.
• Helping manage finances, record-keeping, and financial reporting.
• Stepping in when the Treasurer is unavailable.

Gwyndaf Owen

• The Secretary handles administrative tasks.
• Takes minutes during committee and general meetings.
• Keeps members informed about the organisation’s activities.
• Handles correspondence and maintains records.
• Ensures communication and documentation within the group.

These play essential roles in the functioning of the organisation, including:

• Contributing to discussions, sharing insights, and actively participating in decision-making.
• Undertake tasks assigned during meetings.
• Fulfil responsibilities assigned by the committee.
• Assist other committee members in their roles.
