Rainbow Foundation Wrexham

The Rainbow Foundation is a local charity supporting people across Wrexham and Flintshire to stay independent, healthy and connected. Working from hubs in Penley and Marchwiel, they help older people, those living with dementia and anyone experiencing frailty or isolation.

Their day services offer social contact, confidence‑building and support with wellbeing. They also provide social prescribing, linking people to activities and services that suit their needs, and run community transport so individuals can reach appointments and groups. The charity offers specialist dementia and frailty support, delivers nutritious meals, and encourages healthier living through its Active Futures programme.

At their hubs, people can access personal care, showering, hairdressing, chiropody and continence support, alongside a wide range of social groups such as art, singing, lunch clubs and bereavement support.

Overall, the Rainbow Foundation works to ensure people can live safer, healthier and more fulfilling lives within their own communities.
